General [Attr="class","box1] MEMBER RESPECT: Be nice to every member, if a conflict is started that can't be resolved among each other then you must see an Administrator or a Moderator about this. While some of us here do know each other IRL very well, others of us do not. So, it is just better to treat everyone equally. Have fun; just don’t push it.OVERLOAD/STRESS: If you are ever experiencing peer pressure, having a stressful time in your life, just can’t keep up, started too many threads and you are overwhelmed or maybe you are just having writer’s block, let us know! This is meant to be a fun space not a stressful one.Though, after 1 month of absence with no notice your threads will be moved to the archives, any plot characters or claims you had will be put back on the available list and your account will be marked inactive. ACCOUNTS: A person is allowed to have one account for all their characters!ICONS/SIGNATURES: To keep people from stretching out the board or having multiple signatures, we ask that ALL icons are only 150x150 pixels, HOVER icons are 200x300 pixels and signatures be at the MOST 600x300 pixels. You may have them smaller. Only one signature OR you can just put words. We also ask to link to your plotting page in your signature or mini-profile, so people can find it easily! | Posting [attr="class","box1"] MINIMUM/LIMITATIONS FOR POSTING: All I ask in regards to this is that you make an attempt for at least 250 words. This is a soft minimum though. This rule is here to make sure that there is always something for your fellow role-player to work with! GRAMMAR USAGE: This one is self-explanatory, make proper sentences and don’t use text talk in a post, that’s all I ask. DETAILS: When you post, it’d be best if you included details, like, a direction you’re walking in, or something along the lines of typical descriptive literature. You do not have to live up to the standards of others, just give it your best and you’ll be fine.POWER PLAYING: You cannot control another member's characters. You may not do something to another member's characters without first discussing it with said member. However, controlling general crowds or unidentified characters is allowed.MULTIPLE CHARACTERS SAME THREAD: If you are role-playing multiple characters in the same thread, you must make separate posts for them.POSTING DEADLINES: There is an expectation of ONE post on average for the week. POSTING TEMPLATES: The pretty formatted area around these rules is a posting template! While they are not required for posts, they are most welcome! Though the table cannot exceed 700px in width as it would be too large for the board. If you want help making one or to learn how to make one, message an Admin or head over to the CHARACTER RESOURCE board.TIMESTAMPS: While we do not require posting templates for your threads. We do require that each thread starts with a timestamp, though it does not need to be formatted with a posting template. What's a timestamp? Well it is a general header for a thread that gives, weather, time of day, characters involved in the thread etc. It can be really helpful when you haven't posted in a week and need a refresher on circumstances of a long thread but do not want to read the entire thread just to recall the weather. It is the first post in a thread and is in its own post separate from the RP post. It must only be posted once per thread at the top of the thread. POST CONTENT: Proboards has a rating of PG-13... therefore please do not have obscene or explicit post content. You can swear, have violence, but we don't want proboards to shut us down, so keep that in mind! |
Character [attr="class","box1"] CHARACTER APPLICATIONS BREAKDOWN: Read the detailed rules/how to's and then fill out the TEMPLATE in the application section! Once accepted, you may begin role playing! DO NOT PLAY A CHARACTER UNTIL IT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED.TOTAL CHARACTER ALLOTMENT: You can have unlimited characters on the site, but keep them active!CHARACTER RELATIONS: Before creating a character that is related to someone else's on the site, make sure you ask them or collaborate with them! If you wish to plot-out the character together or plan relationships do so in the THE PLOTTING BOARD.CHARACTER IMAGES: Character images can either be drawn by you (or another member of the site) or can be visually represented by celebrity. If you choose the latter, make sure to go to THE CLAIMS section, namely the face claim thread, to make sure the celeb you want isn't already taken!CLAIM CHARACTERS: If you are interested in a plot position or in-universe occupation, take a look at our plot/job CLAIMS to see what is available.
